SUSHI-MAKING SESSION ONE
few weeks ago, i had this random craving for sushis. and i thought it would be a good idea to DIY instead of having them at restaurants, afterall, the last time i remembered DIY-ing sushis was during my secondary school days in one of the home econs/ f&n lesson (forgotten which). and that was the one and only time i ever did that and have forgotten everything since then.
last saturday, we finally made our very own sushis! mine turned out like crap, and it was damn ugly, even though it's still edible. baby's first few attempts wasn't successful as well. it was only until the end, he finally managed to figure how everything was to be done.
shall share with you guys the process of it.
first of all, must wash and drain the rice before cooking~

then must cut the crabsticks~

afterwhich, i helped shell the prawns and baby deveined them~

next, boil the prawns~

and, done!

rice's cooked too!

baby's gonna pour in the sushi vinegar already~

my seaweeds from daiso!

baby's first attempt to make sushi using the rice ball maker~

the first batch, like nua nua like that de~

and the final most successful ones! crabstick with cheese done by baby, the most top one done by baby's mummy if i'm not wrong, delvin's one he finished them up already, and the most lonely one done by me! the below nua nua one, very ugly. :(

i just want to say i have lots of fun during the process and laughing at baby's failed work. LOL!
feeling very excited again cuz i'm gonna have sushi-making session two coming up this saturday! woohoooooo~ :D:D

SPOOKTACULAR 2010 @ SENTOSA
this event was made awesome with the presence of baby, delvin, their mummy, bestest, and ferlyn! :))
we took the monorail to imbiah station, and as we went down the escalator, screams could been heard from far already! so my mindset was like, "wa, very exciting leh! from far far jiu can hear people screaming already, confirm very scary one."
as expected, before we even collected our tickets from the ticketing booth, there were ghosts all over the place already. but we only managed to take pictures with these two.

afterwhich, we decided to go on the trail before the queue gets even longer.
Pics taken while queuing to get inside the merlion for Cursed Island

before entering the trail for the merlion, we were supposed to hold onto this rope in order to stay together as a group. baby's mummy and delvin led the walk, and following behind us were a group of four girls if i'm not wrong. i don't like the rope cuz i think it's very uncomfortable when the people behind you keep tugging and pulling. :( for all that i remembered, there were many ghosts crawling on the floor, trying to grab you, and shouting "save me, save me!"
Spotted this outside the merlion

Took quite a few pictures as well while on the way to images of singapore.
Baby's Mummy and I, with well behind that looks as if sadako's gonna climb out of it

With the fake tombstones

Delvin's new friend

Pretty schoolgirl the boys fell head over heels with!

i just have to say that both safari and sentosa really put in so much effort to make the place have the halloween feel. at this spooktacular cemetery, there's this misty misty effect which really amazed me!

Mad love this picture of us!

Spent quite some time here taking pictures with all these ghosts.

i was trying to take a close look of her make-up after taking this picture, and this mad woman suddenly scream which scares the hell out of me! !@#$%^&*()

i got super like him, cuz he's soooooo cute! :D

this one got look a bit like safari's geisha, except for her costume~

i think this one is a guy!

nothing special about this one i think? she looks very normal to me~

this one got english ghost de feel! but the face like a bit not suitable leh, not angmoh-ish enough~ and she diao me. :(

there's blood even on her legs! someone tell me her make-up's well done!

Taken while queuing for wax museum, and i wanna say that the queue is crazily long!

Say hello to my cute baby!

for the wax museum, we were asked to walk in a line, hands on each other's shoulders like a choo-choo train. brave ferlyn like warrior lo! she's the one to lead the walk this time round. when we got in, we see no point in walking in a row, hence walked on our own. the fun part of this trail is differentiating which are the wax figurines and which are the real humans.
upon deciding on our next trail, we managed to catch the fireworks! wa, i really think my 28 bucks ticket very worth it. LOL!
caught this vampire before getting in the queue for the sky tower.

i thought there would be like something that's gonna be scaring us when we're up in the tower, but there's none! so it's basically just going up the tower and enjoying scenic sentosa at night! RW Sentosa looks really chio at night though!
and when we reached our final trail, haunted asylum, the queue is mad long again! but i think it's moving quite fast as compared to wax museum.

notice ferlyn's contact lens? i forgot to ask her where she got them from.

With my bestest!

And my baby! ♥

the haunted asylum really lived up to its name. cuz when you're in there, practically everyone is insane and screaming like mad.
last but not least, our group picture together with geisha laoda! i swear he's crazy cuz he practically shouts at almost everyone he saw, afterwhich the person would get frightened and ran away, but he continued chasing him/her around. very funny la!

all in all, no words could describe how much i've enjoyed my halloween, and i'm so gonna go again next year! :))
